Jeff Lewis, Oaktree Solutions’ Managing Director of Policy and Strategy, has been recognized by City & State’s Albany 2024 “40 Under 40” awards.
This City & State award honors the dynamic leaders who are driving change in Albany – from strengthening public infrastructure to advancing environmental sustainability. These individuals have spearheaded major initiatives to tackle today’s most urgent challenges, demonstrating the expertise and vision needed to succeed in the complex world of state governance.
City & State highlights Lewis’ more than seven-year tenure in the New York Executive Chamber, where he also served as Gov. Kathy Hochul’s chief of staff. At Oaktree, he continues to champion Democratic priorities on issues such as health care access and the mental health and housing crises.
“[Gov. Hochul] and I have a consistent North Star, which is how we can do the most good in the world with the limited time we have,” Lewis says. “You can never take any of that for granted.”
